Be A Nice Human

I wasn’t going to write tonight, but then I decided that it was time for a Public Service Announcement. You see, the world has a lot of really negative and mean people. I, personally, know a lot of mean people. So I got to thinking, it’s not hard to be nice. Actually, you don’t even have to be nice, just don’t be mean!

This may seem minuscule, but there’s just not ever a reason to be a mean human. I don’t particularly like a lot of people, but I’m always nice and absolutely never mean to them. What good does it do you to be mean to someone? Nothing. It does nothing. If anything, surprising people with kindness is most effective.

It’s just so bothersome that people are mean without reason. Hearing someone making fun of another person or just seeing someone being rude to others really irks me. It’s just not necessary. If you don’t like someone, just don’t interact with them. That’s a better alternative to being mean. Or maybe try being nice! It’s really not hard.

Being negative all the time has got to be exhausting. Never being happy can only lead to more unhappiness. If anything, just be content. It takes so much effort to find the bad in every situation. Allowing yourself to be happy can reduce so much stress. Not to mention, having a scowl on your face all the time isn’t the most attractive look.

I’m just so tired of everything always being a competition and seeing the worst of people when someone isn’t the same as them. People are different! We all have something special to share with the world. It’s not like you have to be everyone’s best friend, but stop hating other people for being themselves. Stop thinking you’re better than others. Stop being mean to people. If you don’t like someone, just ignore them or learn to be civil.

I apologize for the unorganized rant, but just be nice humans. That’s all I ask.
